Ingredients For Wai Wai Noodles Fry
Wai wai noodles– Vegetarian (Green packet) or chicken flavor (Red packet). You can use either. I am using vegetarian for this recipe.
Onion: Red or white onion.
Vegetables: Peas or carrots or pepper. Feel free to substitute with your favorite vegetables
Sauce: Tomato sauce, spicy siracha sauce or you can replace with green chili.
Seasoning: Black pepper and salt.
Egg (optional)
Oil: Olive oil or any vegetable oil.
Spice: Red chili kashmiri powder.
Note: Wai wai comes with its own masala powder that contains salt, and wai wai itself is salty, so please be cautious when adding salt.
Step-By-Step Photo Instructions
#1 Remove the noodles from the packet. Add two cups of warm water to the noodles in a bowl to soften them. Let the noodles soak for 10 minutes until soft. Using a strainer, strain the noodles once they are soft.
#2 Pour one tablespoon of oil into the pan. Once the oil is hot, add the onion. Stir fry it for 2-3 minutes on medium-high heat until the onion softens and turns light brown.
#3 Then add the egg and cook it for two to three minutes. Add peas after that. Mix everything together, add noodles, and stir-fry them for a few minutes.
#4 Finally, add all seasonings (pepper powder, Kashmiri powder, Wai Wai masala powder, salt to taste) and sauces to the pan. Stir everything together and fry for 3-5 minutes. It’s time to serve the wai wai noodles. Make it even better with this delicious lassi!
Note: If you wish, you can garnish it with cilantro or green onions.

This actually turned out to be really good. I found the noodles to be too soft so will soak for 5 minutes instead of 10 next time. I also ended up using more oil when stir frying the noodles. I recommend trying this recipe.
